This policy explains how Human Stack (“we,” “us,” or “TENSION”) handles information when you use the TENSION mobile app and this website.

Information you provide and create

TENSION may process the information needed to provide its features, including your sign-in email and basic profile information when you choose Google sign-in; training profile details you choose to enter; exercises, sets, loads, time-under-tension records, effort ratings, notes, and sessions you save; and messages you send to support.

The website itself does not offer accounts or collect payment information. If you contact us by email, we receive the information in your message and your email address.

How information is used

We use information to operate TENSION, maintain and synchronize your training record when you use account features, respond to support requests, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use training data for advertising.

Storage and service providers

Training data may be stored on your device. If you choose account and sync features, data may be stored with our cloud service provider, Supabase. Google provides the optional Google authentication flow. Purchases, if offered through Google Play, are processed by Google under its own terms and privacy practices. We share only what is reasonably necessary for these services to work.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls for account-linked data. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device and sign-in credentials secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Retention and deletion

Data kept only on your device can generally be removed by clearing the app’s local data or uninstalling the app, subject to your device settings. If you use a TENSION account, you can request deletion from within the app through the account area. If you cannot access the app, email us from the account email address and we will help verify and process the request. Deletion may remove associated cloud training data, subject to limited retention where required for security, legal compliance, or resolving disputes.

Your choices

You may choose whether to use optional account features and whether to provide optional profile or notes data. You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights.

Children

TENSION is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the app or provide personal information if you are under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can address it.

Changes and contact
